How it works ?
Our tool Chat Your Data use the Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) concept.
Basically there are 3 steps:
- The tool will integrate with your internal data sources (Database tables, Kafka cluster or pdf, docx, pptx, csv or text files);
- The data will be persisted in a Postgresql database with a table that uses the PG Vector extension. The data is transformed into vectors that will feed context into the LLM model responses;
- When chatting with the model on the Chat with your Data page, before each response the model will consult the PG Vector table for an approximate context related to the current conversation. The better the persisted data, the easier it is for the tool to deliver rich and personalized responses.
